Ranulphus 
Ranulphus was born about 1032.1 Ranulphus' father was Wolfric of Mercia and his mother was daughter of Arques. His paternal grandfather was of Mercia Godwin; his maternal grandfather was Count Of Arques William. He had three brothers named the King's Thane de Tettesworth, Waltheus of and Ormus. He was the second youngest of the four children.General Notes
