Eleanor McClish McCleish 
Eleanor McClish was born on October 10th, 1805 in Canada.1 Eleanor McClish's father was Andrew McClish McCleish and her mother was Phoebe Amy Montross. Her maternal grandparents were Peter Montross and Leah Mabee Mabie. She had a brother and ten sisters, named Andrew McClish, Fanny McClish, Mary McClish, Martha Maria McClish, Margaret McClish, Christina, Amy McClish, Rebecca Jane McClish, Phoebe, Ann Maria McClish and Leah McClish. She was the fourth oldest of the twelve children. She died at the age of 64 on March 29th, 1870 in Walsingham, Norfolk Co, Ont., CN.1 General Notes

She married Henry Rohrer, they lived in Walsingham Twp., Norfolk co Ont. CN.and had 10 children, all listed in Mabie book. One daughter-in-law, Abigail (Jackson-Becker) was the heroin of Long Point who effected the spectacular rescue of seven shipwrecked sailors.
