Beenetta was born on February 12th, 1847 in Driever, Ostfriesland, Germany.1 Beenetta's father was Evert Berends Hennings and her mother was Hilke Ontjes Van Mark. Her paternal grandparents were Beene Everts Hennings and Jantie Janna Filips; her maternal grandparents were Ontje Abben Van Mark and Mechel Geerds. She had three brothers and three sisters, named Evert Abbe, Beene, Ontje Everts, Mechellina, Mechellina and Janna Christina Evert. She was the youngest of the seven children.1 General Notes
