John Giffard 
John was born about 1327 in Twyford, Buckinghamshie, England.1 John's father was Sir John Giffard and his mother was Lucy De Morteyn. His paternal grandparents were John Giffard Le Boef and Alexandra De Gardiano; his maternal grandparents were John De Morteyn and Joan De Rothwell. He had four brothers named Richard, Nicolas, Gilbert and Thomas. He was the oldest of the five children. He died after 1390.1 -
