Gilbert Giffard 
Gilbert was born in 1340 in Twyford, Buckinghamshie, England.1 Gilbert's father was Sir John Giffard and his mother was Lucy De Morteyn. His paternal grandparents were John Giffard Le Boef and Alexandra De Gardiano; his maternal grandparents were John De Morteyn and Joan De Rothwell. He had four brothers named John, Richard, Nicolas and Thomas. He was the second youngest of the five children. He died at the age of 32 in 1372.1 -
