John of was born on April 26th, 1319 in Gué de Mauny Castle, Le Mans, France and his baptism took place on April 29th, 1319 in St. Julien, Le Mans, Sarthe, France.1   John of's father was Philip De Valois and his mother was Joan of Burgundy.  His paternal grandparents were Charles I Prince Of France and Marguerite Princess Of Sicily Naples; his maternal grandparents were II Robert and Duchess of Burgundy Agnes. He had four brothers and two sisters, named Prince of France, Prince Of France, Prince of France, Prince of France, Princess of France and Princess of France. He had a half-sister named Princess of France Blanche.  He died in London, England.  He was buried on May 8th, 1364 in St Denis, France.1 1
