Philip was born in 1293.1 Philip's father was Charles I Prince Of France and his mother was Marguerite Princess Of Sicily Naples. His paternal grandparents were Philippe III King Of France and Isabelle of Aragon; his maternal grandparents were Charles II the Lame of Naples and Maria Princess of Hungary. He had a sister named Jeanne. He was the older of the two children. He had two half-brothers and three half-sisters, named Louis, Charles, Marie, Isabelle Of and Blanche Princess Of. He died at the age of 57 in August 1350. He was buried in Royal Tomb, St Denis.1 1 General Notes
