Mary Fowler 
Mary was born in 1617 in Marlborough, Wiltshire, England.1 Mary's father was Philip Fowler and her mother was Mary Winslow. Her paternal grandfather was Phillip Fowler; her maternal grandparents were John Winslow and Elizabeth Paddy. She had four brothers and two sisters, named Samuel, Philip, Benjamin, Joseph, Hester and Margery. She died at the age of 49 on October 28th, 1666 in Massachusetts.1 General Notes

! Mary came with her father to Ipswich in 1634 on the "Mary and John". She was the first wife of William Chandler and lived in Newbury at the foot of Chandler's lane, which is now Federal Street.
In 1651, Mary was taken to court for wearing a silk hood and scarf under the sumptuary law but was discharged because she proved that her husband was worth two hundred pounds.
