Richard Fitzrobert 
Richard was born about 1126 in <Cruelly, Calverdos, Normandie, France>.1 Richard's father was Robert de Cael and his mother was Sibyl Fitzrobert. His paternal grandparents were Henry I Beauclerc and Nest verch Rhys; his maternal grandparents were Robert Fitzhamon and Sibyl de Montgomery. He had five brothers and three sisters, named Robert, Hamon, Roger, Philip FitzRobert de, Robert, Mabel De, Maud de and Emma de. He was the third youngest of the nine children.
