Catherine was born in 1453 in Steeple Ashton, Wiltshire, England.1 Catherine's father was Sir John Dynham and her mother was Jane Arches. Her paternal grandparents were John Dynham and Philippa Lovel; her maternal grandparents were Sir Richard Arches and Lucy. She had a brother and two sisters, named Sir John, Margaret and Joan. She was the second youngest of the four children. She died at the age of 48 on September 25th, 1501.1 General Notes
