Sir Henry De Greene 
Sir Henry was born in 1310 in Greens Norton, Northampton.1 Sir Henry's father was Thomas De Greene and his mother was Lucy La Zouche. His paternal grandparents were Thomas De Boketon De Greene and Alice Bottisham; his maternal grandparents were Eudo La Zouche and Millicent De Cantilupe. He was an only child. He died at the age of 60 in 1370 in Broughton, Northampton.1 General Notes

Please note that his death was in Boughton, Northampton, Northamptonshire not Broughton, Dorsetshire - the IGI are wrong. The Greene family owned Green's Norton, Northampton, Northamptonshire and the Drayton family owned Boughton, Northampton, Northamptonshire. In fact in tracking down Cokayne's short reference in the British Library, I did find it - George Baker's History and Antiquities of the County of Northampton, 2 Vols. J.B. Nichols & Son, London, 1822-1841. The Green/Greene pedigree is in Vol. 1, p. 32. Lo and behold I found that U of T has it in their Rare book collection. I shall attempt to get a photocopy. In my search, I found University College Northampton in Northampton - located today on Boughton Green Road.
