Thurston Despencer 
Thurston was born about 1175 in Of, Stanley, Gloucestershire, England.1 Thurston's father was Almaric Despencer and his mother was Amabel (Maud) De Chesney. His paternal grandparents were Thurston Despencer and Lucia; his maternal grandparents were Walter Chesnei and Eva De Broc. He had five brothers and a sister, named Thomas, Almaric, Philip, Richard, Hugh and Juliana. He was the second oldest of the seven children. He died in 1229.1 General Notes
