Luitgarda De Vermandois 
Luitgarda was born about 0920 in Vermandois, Normandy, France.1 Luitgarda's father was Herbert II De Vermandois and her mother was Liegarde (Hildebrande) Of Neustria. Her paternal grandparents were Herbert I De Vermandois*** and Bertha De Morvois; her maternal grandparents were Robert I King Of France and Beatrice De Vermandois. She had four brothers and two sisters, named Heribert, Albert I "The Pious", Robert Of Vermandois And, Renaud I, Sprota Adela Of and Alix. Also note that Theobald I, Count of Blois, was involved in William I's treachorous ambush and murder in 942 and married Luitgarde, his widow, the next year 943.
