Gerberge was born about 0985.1 Gerberge's father was Godfrey De Verdun and her mother was Mathilde Countess Of Flanders. Her paternal grandparents were Gozelin Graf Von Gozelo and Uda Von Metz; her maternal grandparents were King Of Burgundy Conrad and Mathilde Princess of France. She had three brothers and three sisters, named Gozelon I, Frederick, Hermann, Bonne, Ermentrude and Irmengarde. She was the youngest of the seven children. She had two half-brothers and a half-sister, named Arnulph II The, Jean and Bertha Of. She died about 1030.1 General Notes
