William De Lancaster 
William was born about 1100 in Of, Kendal, Westmorland, England.1 William's father was Gilbert De Lancaster and his mother was Godith Fitzreinfred. His paternal grandparents were Ketel De Taillebois 3rd Baron Kendal and Christiana; his maternal grandparents were Fulk Fitzreinsfred and Alice St Quintin. He had four brothers and two sisters, named Jordan, Warin, Walter Or De Constances, Roger, Agnes and Siegrid. He had two half-brothers named Nicholas and William de Lancaster II Baron.
