Thierry De Avesnes

Thierry was born about 1132 in Of, Oizy, Namur, Belgium.¹ Thierry's father was Wauthier De Oisy and his mother was Ade Or. His paternal grandparents were Fastre De Oisy and Richil De. He had four brothers and a sister, named Nicolas, Evrard, Gossuin, Fastre and Petronille. He was the second oldest of the six children.
