Evrard De Avesnes

Evrard was born about 1134 in Of, Oizy, Namur, Belgium.¹ Evrard's father was Wauthier De Oisy and his mother was Ade Or. His paternal grandparents were Fastre De Oisy and Richil De. He had four brothers and a sister, named Nicolas, Thierry, Gossuin, Fastre and Petronille. He was the third oldest of the six children.
