Mathilda was born about 0790.1   Mathilda's father was Louis I (De Aquitaine) King Of France and her mother was Ermangarde Of Bavaria.  Her paternal grandparents were Charlemagne Emperor Of Holy Roman Empire and Hildegard Of Germany. She had three brothers and three sisters, named I, Pepin II King, Ludwig II King Of, Hildegarde Of Holy Roman, Rotrude Of The Holy Roman and Adelaide (Adela) Of Holy Roman. She had a half-brother and a half-sister, named Charles II Emperor Of Holy Roman and Gisela Of.1
