Joan of was born in of, France.1   Joan of's father was Peter I Duc D' Bourbon and her mother was Isabelle Of Valois.  Her paternal grandparents were Louis I 'Le Boiteux' Duke of Bourbon and Marie de Avesnes Hainault; her maternal grandparents were Charles I Prince Of France and Matilde (Mahaud) De Chatillon. She had two sisters named Blanche Princess of and Bonne.1

‌Joan of and Charles of were married in a religious ceremony on April 8th, 1350 in Lyon, Rhone, France.1   They had three sons and six daughters, named Jean Prince of, Charles of, Louis Prince of, Princess of France Jeanne, Bonne Princess of, Princess of France, Isabel Princess of, Marie Princess of and Princess of France.
