Henry Akkerman 
Henry was born on May 8th, 1901 in Grundy County, Iowa.1 Henry's father was Oltman Akkerman and his mother was Clara Fluth. His maternal grandparents were Jacob Janson Fluth and Dswer Hagan Aaren. He had six brothers and four sisters, named Mike, Jacob, Edward, Thomas, John, Oltman, Dever, Tille (Topke), Anna and Helena. He was the youngest of the eleven children. He died at the age of 69 on October 14th, 1970 in Rock Rapids, IA.1 General Notes
