Helena Akkerman 
Helena was born on April 23rd, 1896 in Grundy County, Iowa, USA.1 Helena's father was Oltman Akkerman and her mother was Clara Fluth. Her maternal grandparents were Jacob Janson Fluth and Dswer Hagan Aaren. She had seven brothers and three sisters, named Mike, Jacob, Edward, Thomas, John, Oltman, Henry, Dever, Tille (Topke) and Anna. She was the fourth youngest of the eleven children. She died at the age of 64 on February 13th, 1961 in Rock Rapids, Iowa, USA.1 General Notes
