Dever Akkerman 
Dever was born on July 30th, 1881 in Grundy County, Iowa, USA.1 Dever's father was Oltman Akkerman and her mother was Clara Fluth. Her maternal grandparents were Jacob Janson Fluth and Dswer Hagan Aaren. She had seven brothers and three sisters, named Mike, Jacob, Edward, Thomas, John, Oltman, Henry, Tille (Topke), Anna and Helena. She was the oldest of the eleven children. She died at the age of 66 on January 7th, 1948.1 General Notes
