William Wilshire Sloan 
William Wilshire was born in 1872. William Wilshire's father was George Washington Sloan and his mother was Sarah Angaline Dooley. His paternal grandparents were James Guy Sloan and Marthena Sands; his maternal grandparents were James Dooley and Lucinda Key. He had five brothers and two sisters, named James Oliver, Lee Elwood, John Guy, Archibald, George Washington, Sophia Anna and Mary Blanche. He was the oldest of the eight children. He died at the age of 62 in 1934.-
