Archibald was born in Ireland. Archibald's father was Archibald Sloan. He had three brothers named John, Richard and Robert. He died in Will written 28-7-1786. He was buried in Will pro 1788 NC.General Notes
Will gives NC property to wife, Margaret, and son-in-law Joseph Sharpe to
have his equity in the estate of my father the late Archibald Sloan in
Lancaster Co. PA and legacies from the estate of my late brother Samuel Sloan
of the same place.
Archibald and Margaret--------- were married in a religious ceremony. They had four sons and five daughters, and also a child of unknown gender, named John, Patrick, Archibald, Samuel, Isabelle, Jean, Margaret, Elizabeth, Mary and Healnor.
