Anna was born about 1812 in Knox Co.,KY. Anna's father was *Elijah Prewit and her mother was *Susannah Katherine DeMoss. Her paternal grandparents were *David II Prewit and *Jane Parrott; her maternal grandparents were *Andrew DeMoss and *Elizabeth. She had four brothers and six sisters, named *Joel P. , Rev., William, Silas M., Elijah Jr., Elizabeth, Jane, Sarah (Sallie), Kezie, Mary (Polly) and Susannah. She was the fourth oldest of the eleven children. She died after 1880 in Rockcastle,KY.-
