*Richard (Sr) Prewitt

*Richard (Sr) was born in 1698 in Henrico Co.,VA.  *Richard (Sr)'s father was *Henry (Sr) Prewitt\Pruett and his mother was *Rebecca Ann Dabbs\Dobbs.  His paternal grandparents were *Thomas Prewitt and T; his maternal grandfather was James Dabbs\Dobbs. He had eight brothers and a sister, named Samuel, Thomas (Sr), Andrew, Hugh, Uriah (Sr), William, Henry (Jr), John and Rebecca.  He died about 1757.

‌*Richard (Sr) and *Frances were married in a religious ceremony about 1725 in Henrico Co,VA.  They had three sons named *David I, Richard (Jr.) and James.
