William Kercheval 
William was born on January 4th, 1806 in Butler County,Ohio. William's father was Benjamin Kercheval and his mother was Nancy Pound. His paternal grandparents were James Kercheval and Mary Pottenger; his maternal grandparents were Thomas Pound and Sarah Kester. He had a brother and three sisters, named Martin, Mary Ann, Sarah and Elizabeth. He was the second oldest of the five children. He died at the age of 57 on September 20th, 1863.-
