Samuel Pottenger 
Samuel was born on November 4th, 1693 in Queen Anne Parish,Prince George Co. MD. Samuel's father was John Pottenger and his mother was Mary Beale. His paternal grandparents were Henry Potenger and Sarah Stanton; his maternal grandparents were Ninian Beall and Ruth Moore. He had three brothers and five sisters, named John, Robert, William, Sarah, Mary, Rachel, Verlinda and Jemima. He died at the age of 48 on March 25th, 1742.-

Robert was born on September 23rd, 1729. He died at the age of 51 on November 11th, 1780 in Berkely County,Virginia,now West Virginia.
