George Arthur Hughes 
George Arthur was born on July 4th, 1892 in Norcatur,Norton Co.,Kansas. George Arthur's father was Joseph Clarence Hughes and his mother was Elmina Ellen Martin. His paternal grandparents were William I. Hughes and Mahala Rodgers. He had four brothers and four sisters, named William Abraham, John Douglas, Benjamin Franklin, Joseph Clarence II, Sarah Ellen, Carrie Rebecca, Rosa Elizabeth and Malulu Florence. He was the third youngest of the nine children. He died at the age of 69 on March 11th, 1962 in Baker,Oregon.-
