Abraham Douthitt 
Abraham was born on September 3rd, 1762 in Hope,Rowan County,North Carolina. Abraham's father was John Douthitt and his mother was Mary Elizabeth Scott. His paternal grandfather was Robert Douthitt. He had six brothers and four sisters, named John, William (Billy), James, Thomas, Isaac, Jacob, Elizabeth, Sarah, Rebecca and Mary. He was the fourth youngest of the eleven children. He died before August 30th, 1828 in Davidson County,North Carolina.-
