Mary "Polly" Land 
Mary "Polly" was born about 1803 in Edgecombe Co. NC. Mary "Polly"'s father was Littleberry Land and her mother was Mary "Molly" McLemore. Her paternal grandparents were Bird Land and Rebekah Lewellin; her maternal grandparents were Burwell B. McLemore and Amy Gilliam. She had three brothers and two sisters, named Daniel, Burell, Bird, Sally and Amy. She was the youngest of the six children. She died in 1860 in Edgecombe Co. NC.-
