Samuel was born on January 13th, 1847 in St Erth, Cornwall ENG and his baptism took place there on June 29th, 1849. Samuel's father was * Richard Whinnen and his mother was * Peninah Williams. His paternal grandparents were * John Whinnen and * Mary Blight; his maternal grandparents were * James Williams and * Penina Blee.
