* William was born in 1734 in St Erth, Cornwall ENG and his baptism took place on March 21st, 1734 in St Erth. * William's father was * James Blight and his mother was *Amy Rowe. His paternal grandparents were *James Blight and *Gertrude Blewett; his maternal grandparents were *James Rowe and *Elizabeth Davyes. He had two brothers and three sisters, named James, John, Elizabeth, Phillipa and Suzanna. He died about 1812.
