John Whinnen 
John was born about 1799 in St Erth, Cornwall ENG and his baptism took place on December 1st, 1799 in St Erth. John's father was * John Whinnen and his mother was * Mary Blight. His paternal grandparents were *Edward Whinnen and * Mary Mitchell; his maternal grandparents were * William Blight and * Jennifer Cornish. He had six brothers and three sisters, named William, John II, Edward, * Richard, James, Samuel, Jenefer Blight, Mary and Elizabeth. He was the oldest of the ten children. He died on April 8th, 1803 in St Erth.-
