James Whinnen 
James was born about 1816 in St Erth, Cornwall ENG and his baptism took place on May 19th, 1816 in St Erth. James' father was * John Whinnen and his mother was * Mary Blight. His paternal grandparents were *Edward Whinnen and * Mary Mitchell; his maternal grandparents were * William Blight and * Jennifer Cornish. He had six brothers and three sisters, named John, William, John II, Edward, * Richard, Samuel, Jenefer Blight, Mary and Elizabeth. He was the second youngest of the ten children. He died in 1877 in Drowned at Marazion. He was buried on April 16th, 1877 in St Erth.-
