Arrived in Sydney 9 apr 1852 on 'David McIvor' with brother Lawrence. Farmer in Mallaroba NSW. Signed marriage certificate 1859 with his mark. Was a widower at time of marriage to Margaret Callaghan.
* John and * Margaret were married in a religious ceremony on May 3rd, 1857 in Roman Catholic Church, Clarence Town NSW. They had five sons and three daughters, named Patrick Peter, Laurence Patrick, John Joseph, William J, * James Peter, Johanna 'Annie', Elizabeth 'Agnes' and Mary Jane.
