William J Gallagher

William J was born on February 5th, 1866.  William J's father was * John Gallagher (Gallohue) and his mother was * Margaret Callaghan.  His paternal grandparents were * John Gallagher (Gallohue) and * Johanna Barratt; his maternal grandparents were *James Callaghan and *Elizabeth Lynum. He had four brothers and three sisters, named Patrick Peter, Laurence Patrick, John Joseph, * James Peter, Johanna 'Annie', Elizabeth 'Agnes' and Mary Jane.  He was the fourth oldest of the eight children.

‌William J and Harriet Louisa were married in a religious ceremony in 1891 in Taree.  They had a son named William.
