* James Peter Gallagher

* James Peter was born in 1869 in Birkfield NSW.  * James Peter's father was * John Gallagher (Gallohue) and his mother was * Margaret Callaghan.  His paternal grandparents were * John Gallagher (Gallohue) and * Johanna Barratt; his maternal grandparents were *James Callaghan and *Elizabeth Lynum. He had four brothers and three sisters, named Patrick Peter, Laurence Patrick, John Joseph, William J, Johanna 'Annie', Elizabeth 'Agnes' and Mary Jane.  He was the fourth youngest of the eight children.  He died at the age of 83 in September 1952.  He was buried on September 2nd, 1952 in Botany NSW.

‌* James Peter and * Mary Ann were married in a religious ceremony on June 4th, 1891 in St Killan's RC Church Krambach NSW.  They had nine sons and four daughters, named John Stanley, Augustus Leigh, Peter, James Mark, * Lawrence, Montague, Basil, Kelvin, Raymond, Harriett L, Alesiah M, Mary Pauline and Emily Irene.
