Agnes Maxwell

Agnes was born about 1344 in <Calderwood Castle,East Kilbride,Lanarkshire,Scotland>.¹ Agnes' father was Robert Maxwell Laird of Pollock and her mother was Mrs. Robert Maxwell. Her paternal grandmother was Mrs. John Maxwell. She had a brother named John. She was the younger of the two children.

‌Agnes and Gilbert were married in a religious ceremony about 1369 in <Dunure Castle,Maybole,Ayrshire,Scotland>.¹ They had six sons and a daughter, named James, Alexander, Hugh, John, Thomas, David and Euphame.
