Sir. James Kennedy Knight 
James was born about 1376 in <Dunure Castle,Maybole,Ayrshire,Scotland>.1 James' father was Gilbert Kennedy Jr. and his mother was Agnes Maxwell. His paternal grandparents were Gilbert Kennedy Sr. and Mrs. Gilbert Kennedy; his maternal grandparents were Robert Maxwell Laird of Pollock and Mrs. Robert Maxwell. He had five brothers and a sister, named Alexander, Hugh, John, Thomas, David and Euphame. He was the second oldest of the seven children. He died before November 8th, 1408.1 -
