Andronikos was born about 1108 in Balabista,Makedonia,Greece. Andronikos' father was Ioannes II Komnenos Dukas Emperor of Byzantium and his mother was Piroska (Iren) Princess Of Hungary. His paternal grandparents were Alexius I Comnenus E Roman Emperor and Irene Ducaena; his maternal grandparents were St Ladislaw of Hungary and Adelheid Princess Of Swabia. He had three brothers and four sisters, named Isaak (Ioannis), Manolis I Emperor Of The, Alexios Emperor Of The, Anna, Theodora, Eudoxia and Maria. He had two half-brothers named Manuel I Comnenos Emperor of and Andronikos. He died in 1142 in Herbst.General Notes
