Elizabeth Plantagenet was born in 1364 in Leicester, Leicestershire, England.1 Elizabeth Plantagenet's father was King) de GAUNT (Duke JOHN and her mother was BLANCHE PLANTAGENET de LANCASTER. Her paternal grandparents were EDWARD III KING de ENGLAND and PHILIPPA de HAINAULT; her maternal grandparents were HENRY PLANTAGENET de LANCASTER and ISABEL de BEAUMONT. She had three brothers and two sisters, named John Plantagenet, Edward Plantagenet, Henry IV Plantagenet King, PHILIPPA PLANTAGENET and Isabel Plantagenet. She had four half-brothers and two half-sisters, named John, JOHN 1st DUKE de SOMERSET, Henry Cardinal, Thomas Duke de Exeter, CATHERINE and JOAN Countess de Westmoreland. She died at the age of 61 on November 24th, 1425.1 -
