ISABELLA was born in 1243 in Montpellier, Herault, France.1   ISABELLA's father was JAMES I "The Conqueror" KING de ARAGON and her mother was YOLANDE de HUNGARY.  Her paternal grandparents were PEDRO II KING de ARAGON and MARIE HEIRESS de MONTPELLIER; her maternal grandparents were ANDREAS (Andrew) II KING de HUNGARY and YOLANDE Queen de Hungary de COURTENAY. She had three brothers and a sister, named PEDRO III "The Great" KING, James I King de Majorca, Sancho Archbishop de Toledo and Constance. She had a half-brother and a half-sister, named Alfonso and YOLANTE (Violante).  She died in Cosenza, Calabria, Italy.1

‌ISABELLA and PHILIP III "The Bold" KING were married in a religious ceremony on May 28th, 1262 in Clermont-Ferrand, Puy-de-Dome, France.1   They had four sons and a daughter, named Louis, PHILIP IV KING, Robert, CHARLES KING de NAPLES & and Margaret (Queen).
