YOLANTE (Violante) was born about 1236 in Zaragorza, Zaragorza, Spain.1   YOLANTE (Violante)'s father was JAMES I "The Conqueror" KING de ARAGON and her mother was ELEANOR de CASTILE.  Her paternal grandparents were PEDRO II KING de ARAGON and MARIE HEIRESS de MONTPELLIER; her maternal grandparents were ALFONSO VIII KING de CASTILE and ELEANOR de ENGLAND. She had a brother named Alfonso. She had three half-brothers and two half-sisters, named PEDRO III "The Great" KING, James I King de Majorca, Sancho Archbishop de Toledo, ISABELLA and Constance.  She died in 1301 in Roncesvalles, Navarre, Spain.1
