ALEXANDER (Sir) was born about 1250 in Bucham, Aberdeenshire, Scotland.1 ALEXANDER (Sir)'s father was ALEXANDER de COMYN and his mother was ELIZABETH (Isabel) de QUINCY. His paternal grandparents were WILLIAM de COMYN and MARGARET COUNTESS de BUCHAN; his maternal grandparents were ROGER (2nd EARL) de QUINCY and HELEN Mc DONAL de GALLOWAY. He had three brothers and eight sisters, named John, Roger, William, EGIDIA COUNTESS de STRATHERNE, N.N., ELIZABETH, Elena, Marjorie, Bridget, Margaret and Catherine. He was the fourth oldest of the twelve children. He died in 1305.1 -
