Rivannah Hawkins was born on June 9th, 1856 in Shelby Co., AL.1 Rivannah Hawkins' father was John William Spradley and her mother was Nancy Blackman. Her paternal grandparents were Bryant A. Spradley and Frances Payne. She had two brothers and seven sisters, named James Bryant, John William, Jr., Easter, Nancy, Sarah, Mary Elizabeth, Margaret Malissa, Margaret Josephine and Georgianna Ann M.. She was the third youngest of the ten children. She died at the age of 90 on March 15th, 1947 in Hillsboro, Hill Co., TX. She was buried in Ridge Park Cemetery.1 1 General Notes
