Larry Joseph was born on April 22nd, 1907 in Pell City, AL.1 Larry Joseph's father was Robert Dillard Spradley and his mother was Ann Lee Cox. His paternal grandparents were Manning C. Spradley and Louisa Delula Chritzberg; his maternal grandparents were Howard Cox and Mary Gann. He had five brothers and five sisters, named Mannon T., Hugh Griffin, Herbert, Henry Casaway, Bert, Molly, Millie Corintha, Maude, Minnie Lee and Ola. He was the second youngest of the eleven children. He died at the age of 71 on May 24th, 1978 in Pell City, AL. He was buried in Mt. Carmel Cemetery, St. Clair Co., AL.1 1 General Notes
