Kirk Sandford was born on November 11th, 1911 in Crenshaw Co., AL.1 Kirk Sandford's father was Jefferson Davis Spradley and his mother was Sara Daniel Hogan. His paternal grandparents were Samuel Spradley and Martha Thrower. He had six brothers and five sisters, named Seldon Daniel, Joe Tom, Frank Hogan, Ferrell, Tennent Lomax, Leo, Olene, Ada Jane, Jimmie Adell, Maymie Louise and Ruby. He was the second youngest of the twelve children. He died at the age of 76 on January 21st, 1988 in Luverne, Crenshaw Co., AL. He was buried in Petrey Cemetery, Crenshaw Co., AL.1 1 -
