Bertie Elizabeth was born in 1904.1 Bertie Elizabeth's father was Pittser Miller, Sr. Skinner and her mother was Bethany Elizabeth Ellis. Her paternal grandparents were Josiah Washington Skinner and Martha Ann Moss; her maternal grandparents were William James Ellis and Mary Jane Castleberry. She had two brothers and three sisters, named Oscar Underwood, Rufus Jackson, Eleanor Nell, Phyllis Lewellen and Rosalie. She had a half-brother named Pittser Miller, Jr.. She died at the age of 98 on July 23rd, 2002. She was buried on July 25th, 2002 in Union Cemetery, Brewton, Escambia County, Alabama.1 1 -
