George Washington LaFayette was born about 1828 in GA.1 George Washington LaFayette's father was Anderson Sears and his mother was Martha (?). His paternal grandparents were Joseph S. Sears and Elizabeth Searles. He had five brothers named Owen Turner, Sr., Wesley H., Anderson H., C. J. and William T. J.. He was the third oldest of the six children.
